When you hear a recording of your voice, you probably have the same reaction everyone ELSE has when they hear their voice: "I sound like THAT?"
But it turns out that deep down, you don't REALLY think it's awful.
In a new study out of Albright College in Pennsylvania, people actually find their own voices more ATTRACTIVE than other people's voices.
For the study, the researchers played people recordings of a bunch of different voices . . . and they secretly included a few clips of that person's own voice.
The people didn't recognize their own voices mixed in there among all those other voices . . . but they DID rate their own voices as the most attractive.
The researchers think it's another sign of our MODERN EGOS. Quote, "Given this age of heightened narcissism, this provides further evidence that individuals seem to inflate their opinions of themselves."
