Women spend a solid portion of their adult lives worrying about their hair. So here's something to help simplify the process. You won't figure out your perfect hairdo until you're in your mid-30s.
According to a recent survey of 2,000 women, you finally figure out your IDEAL hairstyle at age 36. Up until that point, you do a lot of experimenting, but regret most of what you try.
However, you only get to enjoy your perfect hair for about a decade, because by age 46, you decide you're too OLD for it.
That's the age when the average woman goes for a more MATURE look . . . which usually means chopping most of it off. Although, one-third of women say they'd avoid any hairstyle that made them look old-fashioned.
46 is also the age when women say that things like extensions, ponytails, heavily bleached hair, and visible roots are no longer acceptable. And a third of women think having grey hair makes them look older than having wrinkles.
