Punxsutawney Phil Didn't See His Shadow . . . For Only the 15th Time in 116 Years . . . Which Means an Early Spring

In case you forgot, Saturday was Groundhog Day.  And for the 116th time, PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL got dragged out to look for his shadow and make a prediction on the weather.

--Well . . . not the original Phil, obviously.  Groundhogs have life spans of about 10 years.  Being "Punxsutawney Phil" is kinda like the Pope . . . they just slide a new one in there whenever the previous one dies.

--Anyway, this year, Phil did NOT see his shadow, which means an EARLY SPRING.

--And it's only the 15th time in 116 YEARS that he hasn't seen his shadow.

--Unfortunately, he's fairly unreliable as a meteorologist.  According to the StormFax Weather Almanac, he's only correct about 39% of the time.  This really is our dumbest holiday.
