A Phone Thief is Caught When He Takes a Self-Portrait . . . That's Automatically Uploaded To His Victim's Facebook Page

I love when criminals get caught because they steal technology they don't understand.  Although it makes me mad that whoever stole my iPhone last year wasn't this dumb.

--Last week, a woman named Lori Uhr was visiting Savannah, Georgia from Florida.  She left her phone in her car overnight, and at some point, someone broke in and stole it.

--But she got a good look at the thief around 3:00 P.M. the next day, when the guy took a picture of himself with his "new" phone . . . and accidentally used an app that automatically uploads to Facebook.

--So when Lori looked at her Facebook page, she saw a brand new photo of 18-year-old Timothy Jackson of Savannah.  She called the police, a detective recognized Timothy, and he was quickly arrested for burglary.
